Uncoated paper
Uncoated paper is mainly used for printing, writing and office stationery.
A haptic surface characterises this “natural” paper. The ink absorption properties may vary considerably depending on the structure, while the ink drying process is somewhat longer than on photo paper, for example. Moreover, pictures appear with soft contours on uncoated paper.
Varnishing is only possible under certain conditions.
